Innovate with our laboratories

Do you have a problem to solve? A project for which you would like to test different technical solutions? Or do you want to overcome technological barriers to open up new opportunities for innovation?

Whatever your situation, ENSTA can support you in your projects. Depending on the level of expertise required and the scope of the project, this support can take different forms.

The partnership research department manages all contracts between laboratories and industry. These may involve research collaborations, theses, or simply information exchanges.

ENSTA offers several forms of collaboration

  1. Entrust us with a study. If you are looking for specific expertise, recognized know-how, or equipment, entrust us with conducting a study according to precise specifications.
  2. Welcome a doctoral student into your teams. This involves collaborating on a study entrusted to a doctoral student and carried out under the joint supervision of the relevant laboratory and the industrial partner. Benefit from our supervisory expertise and meet a clearly identified R&D need while investing in the skills development of your teams.
  3. Let's develop an R&D collaboration on a topic of mutual interest. We propose combining our skills within the framework of a partnership agreement.
  4. Let's engage in a collaborative project and respond to calls for projects. Submission of collaborative projects (public-private or public only) that are funded by public funding agencies (ANR, ADEME, Horizon Europe, etc.). This format opens up opportunities for collaboration with other partners and the creation of a consortium.
  5. Let's work together to overcome technological and scientific barriers through joint research chairs and laboratories. This collaboration can involve several industrial and academic partners and take various forms, ranging from sponsorship to the establishment of joint research teams.

These different forms of partnership meet different needs for both parties and involve appropriate arrangements for sharing intellectual property and exploiting results.

Other forms of collaboration may also be suitable for smaller-scale projects, such as a student project co-supervised by our laboratories, or collaboration with a junior enterprise.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for guidance in identifying the format that best meets your needs.
